Honesty

It's my opinion that honesty is one of the most important and impressive values in life.

See below a copy of an email sent to me by our client contact at Scotch College.

Hi Trevor

It is rare to be able to pass on good reports about the cleaners but I thought that this should be acknowledged. 

I had a meeting with the our former Artist in Residence, Chris, and with Ken in my room (D8) on Friday.  Unknown to either of us Chris had dropped his wallet in the room.  Chris was pretty distraught over the weekend and Ken searched a lot of the campus on Monday.

Yesterday morning I opened the drawer of my desk in D8 to find the wallet had been securely put in there.  It contained cash (quite a lot really), cards etc.  I passed it on to Ken who has returned it to Chris.

I imagine it was put there by the young Indian couple I often speak to.  I know they are not really well paid and that this represents an act of honesty that is impressive.   

I wanted you to know and if there is a chance pass on the information to their boss.

A word from our Directors

Adams is pleased to let you all know that we will soon be moving from our current offices at Thebarton to our own facilities at Hindmarsh.

It’s a really exciting step for us to be able to purchase our own building. We anticipate moving into our new offices/warehouse sometime in August, once refurbishments have been completed.

I would also take this opportunity to mention that I'd like to create a friendly, casual and non-threatening feel to this blog, meaning I do not intent to use this blog as a tool to provide repetitive and worthless information.

Rather I'd like this blog to be a two-way and mutual communication tool, designed to promote good relationships, open and honest communication and feedback and while we're at it, perhaps have a bit of fun.
